"The Amaranth Enchantment" is a book beautifully written.
The author, Julie Berry, gives clear and colorful descriptions, with a lively story full of mystery and romance.
Lucinda stars in this classic, as an orphan who has gone from riches to rags.
She lives with her Aunt and Uncle in their jewelry shop, and one day when a mysterious woman and then later handsome young man come in for business her whole entire life changes.
From helping a thief, to becoming a thief, falling in love, and working for the "Amaranth Witch,"
this story is full of twists and turns, ups and downs, break-ups and make-ups, good guys and bad! This is definitely a story that will keep you on your toes, and when you are finished you will find yourself begging for more!
I myself loved the book and couldn't put it down!
If you any further questions about this book or books in general, please comment and/or e-mail me.
I would love to here from you!
From fantasy to even romance, books are my passion. I believe that words are written upon my heart, stories on my soul, imagination imprinted deeply on my spirit, and my mind just puts it all together. Writing and reading are my doors and windows that help me escape in anyway from life when it gets to overbearing and I'm here to tell you which ones give me the passport to another world the best. Enjoy the magic of reading. -Alicia

My books!!
Hello everyone!
In my last post I promised some previews of some of my latest work!
If I told you all about them it would take all night, so I'm going to do them one at a time.
"The Child of the Fay" you meet Andrena girl who is mute in other words, who can not speak.
She is an intelligent girl who loves white dresses, animals, and plants. But she has always felt like she doesn't belong in her family, for instance her honey brown hair and enormous green eyes, which no one has.
And when crazy things like going through trees and more happens, her life becomes danger.
And all this happens while she makes her first two friends ever, one a cute boy from the states who she might be falling in love with...
Here is a preview of the prologue.
Pretty mysterious right?
Just wait, there will be plenty of "no way!" moments along the way!
Hoped you liked your preview.
Please come again soon!

Prologue
The night was misty.
A woman yet not a normal woman crept silently through the fog.
She carried a bundle in her arms.
The bundle cried.
The woman hushed it. For if it cried and some one heard it, it would cost them their lives.
She walked slowly to the moonlit ponds edge.
She looked out to the rivers leading a whirl of unknown worlds.
She cradled and kissed her precious baby for the last time.
She set down the baby in an awaiting basket.
She shoved it with all her might then watched it sail away into the night.
Relief flooded her; her baby was safe now, her baby would be all right.
She would guide it safely in its journey, in its life.
The baby began to wail.
A sob escaped the woman.
She turned and fled into the night.
Pretty mysterious right?
Just wait, there will be plenty of "no way!" moments along the way!

Book Review For "Spindles End"
Hey everyone!
thanks for visiting, I'm glad that you guys are following my blog!!!
Anyway, I finished "Spindles End" recently and I haven't done a report on it yet.
In the beginning, the book was about a woman named Katronia, but the plot eventually switched to another girl named Rosie.
This story has the idea of the classic fairytale "Sleeping Beauty" but to a much more realistic, human effect.
There are Five parts in this book and out of Five I only liked one.
Part Five was the best in my opinion that had the most romance, adventure, and action.
I do not want to spoil anything for you all so I will only say this much...
The pretty much only needed a few of the parts in the story for a good one.
She could have made it a lot shorter.
The book would three stars over all, if you would have left it up to me.
In closing, if you want to read this book make sure have a lot of time on your hands, because you will take breaks often to do something else.
On my next blog I will tell you a little bit about my own stories, so stay tuned!
Sneak peek of next book review:
The Amaranth Enchantment.
(This is the book I am reading now.)

Welcome!!!
Welcome to my blog!!!
On this blog I will review books and tell you little tidbits about my very own books that I'm writing!!!!
As of right now, I am finishing "Spindles End," a book that I haven't been too interested in.
The reviews on the front and back of the book say the story is full of adventure, which I haven't seen too much of - and I am almost done!
It also said it was full of romance, of which I found a little!
If you like long books that has a lot of side notes/rabbit trails, then this is the book for you!
Thank you for visiting!
